Great pour at a great price!
Nestor is the way to go for rare and hard to find bourbon!
Pappy no longer affordable!
This 15 year was a superb, super smooth drink whenever it was opened over a ten year period (a gift to me turning 60). When purchased it was under $300 and now it's in the stratosphere. Weller 12 is super close to the same batch as the 15 and far less than the $2000 Pappy now goes for. Every 'Pappy' is a superb bottle, even the rye, but can only afford the smallest of drams today.
Wonderful transaction as promised
Our special bottle of Pappy Van Winkle was delivered in a timely manner with the utmost care. Packaging was impeccable and the bottle was in pristine condition. We will certainly work with Nestor again and have already placed multiple other orders with them!!!
Pappy
Shipping was a week later than expected but it arrived in one piece and is delicious.
Surprisingly great job
This bottle and another I purchased (Pappy’s 15, George T Stagg) are hard to find at a reasonable (?) price and Nestor’s had them. Looking online at the reviews (many negative) and BBB rating (there is none—they refuse to rate) And then at the googlenimage of the place (looks like a Rte 66 bar in a very small town) I became really ******* about a scam. That said, for me it was not. I dealt with Sarah who promptly answered calls and did exactly as she said she would and the bottles arrived pristine (labels and corks untampered) in 5days, although the digital automated updates were not much help. So despite my initial recriminations, I had a very good experience. Not sure this can be generalized.
