Hand-Selected Single Barrel, Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky, 100 Proof
Old Forester, established in 1870 and known as "The First Bottled Bourbon," is one of Kentucky's most historic names in whisky. "Finale 26" is a hand-picked Old Forester Single Barrel, uniquely selected from the stocks of Old Forester in Louisville, Kentucky, and bottled at a classic 100 proof (50% ABV).
As a true single barrel release, every bottle comes from one individual barrel, so no two selections are exactly alike. This one matured on the 8th floor of Warehouse J, giving it its own distinct character, and once this barrel is gone it will not be replicated.
Tasting Notes
Rich caramel, vanilla and toasted oak up front, with baking spice and a touch of dark fruit, carried by the 100 proof strength into a long, warming finish.
