This bourbon begins with the classic Woodford Reserve recipe, featuring a mash bill of corn, rye, and malted barley that is distilled in copper pot stills and aged in new charred oak barrels.

But what sets the Double Oaked Private Select apart is its innovative barrel finishing process. After spending several years in the new charred oak barrels, the bourbon is transferred to a second set of barrels that have been deeply toasted and lightly charred, resulting in a rich and robust flavor profile.

Each Private Select barrel is carefully selected and finished with a unique combination of wood types, toasting levels, and char levels, resulting in a bourbon that is truly one-of-a-kind.
