Little Book is the whiskey of Freddie Noe, eighth-generation Beam family master distiller, and The Infinite is its most ambitious idea: a blend that carries forward into each new edition. Edition III builds on the earlier Infinite editions, which drew on bourbons distilled by Booker Noe, Fred Noe and Freddie Noe, and adds three new components to the blend.
The new additions are a 23 year old Knob Creek distilled by Booker Noe, the oldest component ever included in The Infinite, an 11 year old Knob Creek from Fred Noe, and a 9 year old Baker's from Freddie Noe. The resulting blend of bourbons aged 7 to 23 years is bottled at 118.3 proof (59.15% ABV) and presented in a black wooden box, with the label bearing the signatures of three generations of the Beam family.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Cinnamon, honey, graham cracker, barrel char and seasoned oak. Palate: Peanut brittle, cinnamon, peppery oak, brown sugar, pie crust and caramel, with a rich body. Finish: Baking spices, aged oak, dark cherry and lingering nuttiness.
