Architects of Golf is Penelope Bourbon's limited edition series inspired by the subtleties of the game, where founders Michael Paladini and Danny Polise say some of their best ideas took shape. Each "hole" is a distinct batch of the same 6 year old straight bourbon, finished with American oak staves using different techniques, intensities and lengths of time, so each pour plays a little differently. Holes 4, 5 and 6 are the second trio in the series, following Holes 1 through 3 released in spring 2026.
The labels carry a scorecard for each hole: Hole 4 is a 141-yard par 3, Hole 5 a 392-yard par 4, and Hole 6 a 493-yard par 4, each illustrated with its own green. Every bottle is bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV), non-chill filtered, and finished with a gold-foil "P" and a hunter green neck label with crossed clubs. Collect one, or play the full back three.

Across the series, the American oak stave finish layers vanilla, toasted oak and baking spice over Penelope's soft caramel and butterscotch base, with dark chocolate and dried fruit in the longer-finished batches. Hole 4 is the lightest touch of oak, Hole 5 the fruitiest with the most vanilla, and Hole 6 the toastiest.
