This Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Private Selection was aged in warehouse KK on floor 4. It has a deep and rich golden color, and begins with a nose of sweet caramel buttercream, chocolate, cola, flambéed bananas, and the good kind of honey roasted peanuts you get from a state fair. The palate contains nice notes of peanut brittle with drizzled caramel and chocolate, vanilla extract, cane sugar, pecan syrup, and oak. The mouthfeel is viscous, oily, and buttery, leading to a long, sweet, and easy finish.
